Medical Assistant - Pediatrics

Marietta/West Cobb, GA

Full Time – 40hours per week – Mon-Fri – 1-2 Saturdays a month

Duties may include:

· Obtain patient history

· Perform vital signs measurements such as blood pressure, temperature, and

  pulse

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including coding and

  documentation

· Administering Flu Shots and other immunizations

· Assist with medication refills

· Performs additional clerical duties as required

Qualifications Include:

· Completion of MA school course training

· MA certification preferred but not required

· Minimum 1 year MA experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably

  pediatrics

· Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required

· Exceptional interpersonal Customer service skills and provide compassionate patient care

· Excellent Computer and communication skills

· Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment

· Ability to work 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, 1-2 Saturdays per month.

Kids Health First is an Association of 37 Independent Pediatric Practices located in Atlanta and surrounding areas.  Initial candidate screenings are conducted by our recruiter. All interviews and final decisions are made by the pediatric practices, based on their current individual needs and hiring processes. Salary and benefits are determined by individual practices.
